Our take on the official shmear of the Middle-East starts with organic chickpeas and uses lots of tahini, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and garlic. We add a sprinkle of za'atar (marjoram, thyme, sumac & sesame seeds) on top. Our hoomoos is available fresh at our farm store, our farmers markets and at local retailers. It is also distributed to coops all over New England by our friends at Wilcox Ice Cream.
We grind fresh carrots and potatoes with whole raw flax, sunflower and sesame seeds, oats and short grain brown rice for these soy free, nut free, vegan, wood-fired beauties. Certified organic by VOF and available from us and at coops throughout the region. Also available in bulk packaging for schools and institutions.
Our Vegetarian farm kitchen creates wholesome soul nourishing meals for our weekly farm night dinners, on-farm events, yoga retreat and festivals. We're happy to offer off sight catering services as well. (with or without our wood-fired bread bus)
Other seasonal creations include all kinds of pestos, lactic ferments, and preserves.
